the meaning of the title.

I like Hawaiian bread. I don’t like Hawaiian Punch (does that even still exist?). I enjoy wearing Hawaiian-looking button-ups. I traveled to Hawaii only once before. I’m certainly not searching for a prince-charming, nor do I deserve the crown of a princess. I solve puzzles, hence the pieces.

Okay, yes – the title is completely random, somewhat of an inside joke. That is what I intend for this blog to be: random, that is. Maybe it’ll include some inside jokes. I don’t plan to focus on any topics. Most of my writing is non-fiction, a lot autobiography. I’ll keep brevity in mind, but I can’t promise it.

Writing is a newfound, therapeutic love of mine. I write for none other than myself. I appreciate anyone who reads, follows, or comments.

In the words of Maui from Moana, “If you wear a dress and have an animal sidekick, you’re a princess.” One of those two requirements for princess designation doesn’t hold true for me. Maui is a fictional character in the movie and also a real-life island of Hawaii. Forgot where I was going with that…
